As General Manager Video Services, Philip King is responsible for developing Telecom’s future video and television based services. Philip was appointed to the role in April 2006.
Prior to this, Philip headed up Telecom’s Corporate Affairs Group with responsibility for issues management, brand strategy and stakeholder communications. Philip was appointed to the role of General Manager Corporate Affairs in December 2002 and was a member of the Telecom executive.
Previously, Philip was Telecom’s General Manager Finance and before that, the Company’s Investor Relations Manager. Prior to joining Telecom, he worked for seven years for National Australia Bank where he held a variety of positions in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University (Wellington) and is a Chartered Accountant.
